Ray, Ethel and family are
delighted to welcome you to our web-site and would love to extend a
warm welcome to you when you come and stay with us.
The farm has been in the Houghton family for three generations now.
Ray was born on the farm which was traditionally a dairy farm, but
from the 1970's it became a hill livestock farm. We have had many
animals on the farm over the years including pigs, turkeys, sheep
and cattle. Today we have 130 sheep, a few cattle and a variety of
chickens.
With the decline of farming, and a need to provide alternative
income we were encouraged to diversify. We now have a great purpose
built B&B and self-catering holiday business which we enjoy running.
It is wonderful to meet people from all over the British Isles as
well as those from Europe and indeed across the world.
We are happy to discuss any special requests you may have for your
visit and assure you that we are committed to making your stay with
us a happy and relaxing experience.
